National
Water Conference
Research, Extension
and Education for
Water Quality and Quantity
January 28-February 1, 2007
Marriott
Savannah Riverfront
Savannah, Georgia
The USDA-Cooperative State Research, Education, and
Extension Service (CSREES) Water Quality Program brings university
scientists, instructors, and extension educators into more effective
and efficient partnerships with Federal interagency priority
programs while addressing water quality issues in U.S. agriculture.
This program also provides the flexibility necessary for CSREES
to bring the resources of researchers, instructors, and extension
educators into national initiatives and programmatic partnerships
that target evolving water quality needs.
The conference will provide opportunities for
water quality professionals engaged in research, extension,
and education to share knowledge and ideas, to identify and
update emerging issues, and to network with the CSREES National
Water Quality Program and partner organizations.
- Invited speakers will address current and future water resource
management issues
- Concurrent technical sessions will highlight results of
research and educational programs
- Poster sessions and receptions will provide informal networking
opportunities
