Specialty: Soil Fertility

Nutrient management in vinifera production; P leaching potential in waste amended soils; assessment of variable nutrient management. Analyses of spatially distributed soil properties, field characteristics, and crop parameters with geographic information systems are emphasized. Leadership is provided in developing interdisciplinary research, extension, and academic programs in precision agriculture and the use of a GIS in problem-solving in production agriculture, environment, and natural resource management.
