Faculty and Staff
The Department of Soil Science is uniquely positioned to provide critical leadership to current and emerging issues concerning environmental stewardship, agricultural sustainability, and land use practices in urban and rural environments. These leadership roles, embedded in our research, teaching, and extension missions, are first and foremost a reflection of our talented and committed faculty, staff, and graduate students. Diversity (gender and geographical) is another hallmark that characterizes members of our Department. Global perspectives are well represented from Asia, Africa, and Latin America among the 24 tenure track and 14 non-tenure track faculty, 26 staff, and ~ 35 graduate students. With this complement of talented human capital, the Department of Soil Science strives to serve the citizens of NC, the United States, and the world community. Let us know how we can be of service to you.
