Working in a Confined Space:
A confined space is defined as a space that has limited means of entry and exit, has an adequate size and configuration for employee entry, and is not designed for continuous worker occupancy.
The tanks designed for storage, transport, and application of wastes are classified as confined spaces.
Under new Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations, there are certain confined spaces that require a permit for entry.
